“These people are the embodiment of my response as I investigate questions about ‘type’. Candor and a disregard for political correctness are part of the mandate I impose on this introspection. Who do I see when I reference fear, brilliance or grace?  Representing ‘a truth’ freed into the universe, the ‘bird’ might land as a sparrow and leave us as a hawk. We have relative effect on energy that we accept, reject, or ignore. Truth might light or fly passed. I choose the bird for its allegorical assistance to the stories of my personal population.” To date there are 52 – 36″x36″ oil paintings in this series.
